Celery’s green

Very very fresh celery !! Just from the farm. I can not resist the beautiful green…

I like celery .. the spicy aroma, the crunchy texture, the freshness … 

I don’t want to waste the leaves..

Some people use them to make some soup but they wouldn’t use them all.

So I stair-fry them with canned tuna.

Not only the leaves but also their small stems too. Actually, these deep green colour leaves have lots of vitamin A, which is better to cook with oil, because they are “oil soluble “.

Soya sauce ( a bit), Mirin ( a bit ) and chilli . It can be kept for 4-5 days in fridge. Great with rice in lunch box (bento ).   

Salad, pickled and this stairfried..
