Bamboo shoot!!!!!

I boiled the bamboo shoots last night and left them until this morning.

Bamboo shoots should be boiled with rice bran and chilli . Boiling with rice bran removes bamboo shoots’ astringency.

This morning, I washed them and removed the hard part of the peel. 

Then , remove the top , it’s too fiberly…

But keep the soft part of the peel. I don’t waste them. 

Now it’s ready to cook, preparation is done 🙂  

They can’t keep long and keeping them in freezer is not suitable. 

I cook them tonight, until then I keep them in fresh water ( in fridge ). 

Bamboo shoots are typical ingredients for Chinese dishes too.
